All breathwork and mindfulness practices involve a risk of discomfort and/or injury. Any Breathe Her breathwork practice may involve the following; physical movement in the form of stretching, pranayama (breathwork), meditation and mindfulness. By choosing to participate in Breathe Her classes, you voluntarily assume a certain risk of discomfort and/or injury.

  • By attending Breathe Her live sessions and participating in Breathe Her products, I affirm that I am solely responsible for my health and well-being. I agree to inform my instructor of any practices, activities or movements, which I feel could cause mental health discomfort or physical discomfort/injury to myself. I understand that strong breathwork is not recommended and is not safe under certain medical conditions. I do not have any physical conditions or disability that would exclude my participation. I agree to listen to my body and monitor myself during every practice.

Clients must immediately notify Breathe Her in writing of any change to their medical condition, fitness or ability to participate in a live session.

Breathe Her shall not be held liable for any injury, loss or damage to property and/or persons sustained during or as a result of participation in Breathe Her products and mentorship.

Pranayama

I understand that some pranayama (breath work) techniques have contraindications (and can be dangerous) for certain health/medical conditions. I have informed Breathe Her of any conditions, discomfort or injuries (as listed in the above section).

Safe enough space

I understand that Breathe Her will take every effort to make a safe enough space for all people to participate in an inclusive and accessible manner. I understand that sometimes it is not possible to create a safe enough space for all conditions and needs at the same time, or within the same class. I agree to practice self care and remove myself from the practice if there are ever moments that I need to find my own version of safety and comfort.
